The "unhandled exception..." is resolved with .Net Framework 3.5.1.

Mixed results.

On my machine Isoview 7 results in some graphics problems. For others Isoview 7 is an solves some graphics problems ... the software/hardware/driver environments are different from one PC to another.

Give it a try, if it does not work out, uninstall Isoview 7 from the control panel then reinstall Isoview 4 from VidaDisk:\3PP\Products\isoview\ .

I'll switch from isoview 4 to isoview 7 and explore a little.

If it helps, I've a VIDA/DiCE 2014D running on Window 7 Ultimate with IE11. A repurposed and dedicated old HP with Intel Centrino for VIDA/DiCE only.

Does DiCE connected to ODB2 draw power from car battery when ignition off and key out, but remains connected to laptop over USB? I ask, because the battery voltage dropped to 8.4v overnight. It took a jump to start.

DiCE draws power from the car battery via the ODBII port. The power line on the ODBII port is always on but does not draw power unless there is something is connected to it.

1. Manually install .net framework 3.5.
2. Run scripts 1- 3, in the root directory of VIDA2014D_RePack.iso, one at a time.
3. Run the 2099 patch
4. Run Script 4
. Do not run Script 5
5. Reboot
6. Wait for Java to request a firewall exception.
7. Wait for Vida monitor to turn green.

If DiCE does not work correctly. Run DiCE setup in :\3PP\Products\DiCE\

Clean up: Uninstall Russian language Adobe reader and install English language Adobe reader.

I have VIDA working on my Win10 64 bits computer.

Which DICE do you recommend?

All manufacturers say their device works on win7 32 bits...

The software the package that comes with a DiCE units often requires Windows 7 pro and IE9. You not going to use the software packaged that comes with the DiCE unit so just ignore that statement. This is why I push the RePack.

So it doesn't matter which one I choose?
