OK - drove to Mother-In-Laws house, about 35 minutes, and counted 5 Volvos.

Minneapolis: very Volvo. When I bought my first one, the 93 850 in 2008, there had been 4 or my block. Once I started to notice them, I was seeing them all over the area and still do. 850's are getting scarce but there are still quite a few around, and on up from there.

Here in southern ca they are pretty common. Most common cars are japanese though. A few weeks ago I even spotted a car that I fixed up and sold (99 S70 T5). Looked really good still and still has the ugly black spoiler mounted that I put on there for some reason.

I don't have raw numbers but I live in West St. Louis County Missouri, I have a dealer about 3 miles away. Mostly we drive European out here. Probably half the cars are European mostly five series and audis. A ridiculous number of golf GTI's. But I'd say that one in ten cars are Volvo's. Old and new in even proportion. Lots of XC90's. I kinda want one....

Well, the desert right here. I mean, no camel, no sand no palm trees and no Volvos. Sometimes, when you don't expect anything at the point that you feel that the life Spirit itself has deserted the place, comes through a brand new recent model, a kind that leave a bocks cloud on the back...

By chance, there's gonna be mine in the aeros soon (Saturday). If you're nice, and kind, may be will I tell you the all story...

I'm seeing a bunch o new to town P2 & P3 sedans in the last year. Started seeing another 'new to someone' 2013-2014ish black S60 rolling about town just a few weeks back. Sometimes I wonder if I had anything to do with at least a couple of them - I park my uber pretty blue/arena MY06 S60 in a very high profile spot for morning coffee where random people walk right by it going into the grocery store (Starbucks in town is one of those co-branding coffee corners at the local market). I keep it meticulously clean inside and out, the interior could pass for showroom new at a glance.
I can see the car where I sit inside sipping coffee, people check it out on their walk past often enough to conclude it's catching a few people's eyes. Prior to my S60 I think the only Volvos I ever saw about town, maybe 3 or 4 of them, were all wagons + 1 early model XC90.

We might be up to 12 or 15 Volvos now in this little town, which is probably somewhat high for a small isolated rural town with no regional VOLVO dealership presence/local corporate advertising.

Hy Band of volvo drivers,

I went to Amsterdam this week end to pick up a car: there were Volvos everywhere, imagine, these cars have theirs owns Volvos pedestrians crossing : some olds 240 series, some 940 wagons, a lot of V70 III wagon, I saw 2 850 ( one was mine !), a lot of V70 II also.

Amazing country for amazing cars...

so much emotions : one solution : park the car on the beach and enjoy !

When my family came to Portland OR 5 years ago on vacation my sons and I counted Volvo’s. There were so many I felt like, well, like I belonged. So we moved to SW WA on the coast and there are more Volvo’s here psm than Portland. Of course now I’ll count in between sightings.
