Car Transportation company, which company do you recommend?

Probably wrong forum but since you guys are good to me, thus this question...

- Need to ship a station wagon (2004 Volvo V70) to a family member in Chapel Hill-Durham NC area.

- About 1200 miles.

- Which company do you recommend?

We should do an MVS relay. Everybody signs on to take it 15 miles and hands off to next relay driver. 15 miles isn't so far that a child/spouse/friend won't come pick you up when you've finished your leg.

Side benefit. You meet two MVS'er in the mix: the driver you're taking over from and your relief driver.

Uship.com can be OK. You have to pick though and ask questions. Some will be pickup truck with car trailer but this is also a place indy truckers list so they don't drive a back trip empty.
Dependable Auto Shippers (DASAutohippers.com) is a trucker corp relocation companies use. They will gove you a quote so you have an idea of the market rate for the service. Volvos for you may be coming from Brunswick GA or Charleston so there might be a backhaul opportunity there.
