I have everything up and running, but when I go to the vehicle tab in VIDA, instead of seeing my DiCE and being able to click read vehicle, all I see is a little paper icon with a black X in it. What do I need to do to get it to show my DiCE? I’ve confirmed that the USB drivers are installed and correct. Running native in Windows 10 on IE 11. Will the Chrome conversion fix this?

DiNCA Something minor did not go right on your install. There is an easy fix, Locate C:\VIDA\WslLogin.exe. and rename it to WslLogin.exe.bak Reboot then login as admin.

jkelley that happens on some machines. Go to Install media:\3PP\Products\DiCE\ and run SetupDiCE.exe

Extreme cold temp helps with staying home and taking care of things otherwise postponed. Here are few:

Still no sign of DiCE Hardware, but DiCE was Recognized and listed under Ports.

DiCE Usb Driver x64 and DiCE x64 are there -- progress!
Windows Driver Package - J2534 and SETEK AB -- any conflict for DiCE Hardware?

xHeart: It is getting clear you have a DiCE that deviates from the original design. Do you have a link to the one you bought?

Original 2014A, purchased in 2015, that came with DiCE Device and DVD Media and worked like your set up.
2014D Update purchased in October 2018 via eBay (files only) -- your suspect.

I already ran that once. Will it correct itself eventually if I keep running it?

Have you power up the DiCE unit?
Have you tried running the stand alone DiCE diagnostics?

There is a reason why I keep pushing the 2014D RePack, it works.

Yes and yes. All tests pass except Interface test. Says that “Self diagnostic connector is not attached”.
