2000 V70R - Only Mild Heat in The Cabin

Thanks for the autopsy report, interesting photo of the break.
This is essentially the same as a "heater core bypass".
2004 V70 2.5T 100K+

I Have a 98 Volvo 850 and i have mild heat in the winter and mild AC in the summer. Am i looking at 2 different problems, or could they be related?

You have an issue that deserves it's own post.
You should probably start one.

Since Volvo stopped making 850s in '97,
you might want to start by nailing down
exactly what you're working on.

The next variable is whether the car has
Electronic (ECC) or Manual (MCC) Climate Control.
Does the word AUTO appear on your controls?

Sorry, i meant to say 96 volvo 850. I was multitasking and got mixxed up because i also have 98 s70. It does say AUTO on the controls.

I have the same problem. Changed heater core, change termostat,changed coolant, and still no heat... The problem was air inside heater core,like oragex said,park the car on a hill and give It some revs,it should burp the air(on a hill, cap open and revs) hold the reservoir up on the higest point and it will burp when stat opens more than once...thanks guys from MSV I had trouble with heat now its good.special thanks to oragex
