Hi all, rear parking brake disintegrated. In the chaos the wheel nub that holds the parking brake in the drum broke. Not the brake part but a rectangular metal piece of the wheel hub itself. Anyone experience this and how to replace or fix this?

Sounds like a new backing plate is needed, number 16 below.

Part number in title above

About $70 from lisle, call with your vin and make sure you get the correct side!

Replace the wheel hub screws with new and the gasket between the hub and backing plate too

Thanks for the diagram! It is actually item 8 in the diagram. The cut out in item 14 is for that metal nub that broke off when the parking brake went. Anynidea what item 8 is called? Seems i could get to that following the diagram but looks like a whole bunch of stuff hooks on to it. Cheers
