I was surprised myself, given I used the cheapest wax from a dollar store
I applied 2 or 3 layers - let it dry a few minutes in between

Oragex, I have not yet thanked you for your videos. Time and again, I have come across them and they have provided a great insight into Volvo maintenance. From the link above, I then found one on the car climate blower motor access, and the glove box. So useful.

Huge thanks for your work,
Simon

Solution Finish is a quality product to restore black plastic textured trim. If it's scuffed up you'll have to handle that issue separately but this stuff will make it look new instead of faded and oxidized. Plus it will last quite a long time as opposed to ArmorAll and similar products. Probably similar to the black shoe polish mentioned above but I haven't tried shoe polish. I suspect this stuff works a little better since it's a purpose-designed product but YMMV.

Discovered it from here:

Good luck

IT also has a feature of marking people who walk too close to your car with the black stripe of shame.

This what I have used once a few years ago, and it still stays like new.

Used the "Wipe New." It was "toppen" as the Swedes would say.
