Did the replacement of the turn signal switch solve the BATTERY DRAIN issue?

Yes; the issue was a damaged switch. I checked EVERYTHING else before dealing with the obvious!! No check engine lights or trouble codes and the battery holds a charge.

Thanks Mike ! I have the exact same issue with my 2002 V70 wagon. The high beam feature of the turn signal switch is broken, allowing the high beam relay to be energized, even when the key and engine is turned off... thus allowing the battery to drain overnight!

We pulled the high beam fuse to keep the car running.
