ISO Saffron Part-Out (Driver's Door) Topic is solved

Greetings,

I'm looking for anyone parting a Saffron V70R. Specifically, need driver's front door. Willing to pay good money and shipping. I know it is a long shot, but it can't hurt to ask. Only need the door itself, none of the internals, or glass.

Your best bet is to get a door from a 1996-2000 S70 or V70 and have it repainted and blended to match.

Thanks. I am aware of that option, but would like to find a saffron door if possible. Friend hit my car and I am trying to be a good friend and save her an insurance claim. If I can find a saffron door, she will not have to make the claim. Also, an original factory painted door saves me shop time, and eliminates the possibility for a crappy paint match and blend job.

Matching Saffron well will be extremely difficult, I can see why you wouldn't want go that route unless you have to. Best of luck, you'll likely have to wait awhile at the least though.

Thank you for responses. Given the backlog on shops in Colorado due to hail storms, I will probably have to wait a while regardless of the route. Looking for the best shop to do the match if it needed. I appreciate the optimism and the help keeping an eye out! Will be vigilant in watching notifications. Thank you.

Saffron came up in a junkyard a couple hours from me! I now have replaced the door, and have a spare for each of the other doors, a spare rear bumper, a set of perfect Meteors with snows (were in the trunk), and an incredible condition black R interior. All hail the Volvo gods!
