Hey everyone,
Like the title says I'm looking for a 16T turbo for my 98 V70 R. Doesn't have to be in amazing shape, but needs to be at least rebuild worthy. Mine currently leaks and smokes, and my local junkyard might have one candidate for a 16T but I'm not sure (might try to pull it this weekend if it is). Just seeing what might be available out there and if anyone has a turbo they are looking to get rid of. I'm located in Coeur D'Alene, ID.
Thanks!
WTB 16T Turbo

You can get these cheap on eBay. The parts scavengers pull these off junkyards cars with dollar signs in their eyes, thinking they can make $500 on this part, when you can get them for under $200 from the yard.
The turbos on these cars don't fail, so there is little demand

I’m aware, though I only see one that isn’t a Chinese turbo on there right now. Mine has definitely failed, unfortunately. It needs a rebuild at the very least, not sure the impeller condition yet though. I’m going to probably pull one tomorrow but figured that I’d check and see if anyone here had one they were willing to part with.abscate wrote: ↑28 Dec 2018, 18:59 You can get these cheap on eBay. you can buy a rebuild kit on ebay for 50 bucks or so. maybe less. they are easy to rebuild. just remember the reverse thread nut.
im also sure you can find a video to walk you through it. it will take you about 45 mins to rebuild once off the car.
