1998 V70 Infamous random stall no start. I have some questions

I'm no expert so keep that in mind when I offer PURGE VALVE as a possibility. I had the same start/no start issues intermittantly with my 1998 NA V70 that went away after replacing the purge valve (easy to do and a new purge valve is pretty cheap.) Note, I was also getting P0455 codes occasionally. Ran good with the new purge valve but soon after I also did the plugs, wires, rotor, cap thing just to be sure. Now runs great and also picked up a few extra MPG.

Just a thought.
