Ok, but please don't judge me too harshly! The kids and I were visiting my sister out of town for the Christmas 2004 to 2005 holiday and she lived in a apartment complex with assigned parking. So it was her neighbor.

I immediately rented a 10x20 storage and safely tucked my Volvo away the rest of my visit. I borrowed my uncle's boat tow vehicle a early 1970's Oldsmobile 88 police car spotlights and all. At that time it was a 35 year old rust bucket badly beaten up. I preceded to utterly door ding every inch of both sides of her car which was a civic 4 door. At every chance I moved the Oldsmobile a few inches at a time and kicked the passenger door open into the side of her car over and over again. Then I would park the Oldsmobile as close to the driver's side as possible so she had to climb into her car every time. Her space was to the right of my sister's space. She then tried to hide her car in other parts of the complex to no avail. I would find it and move the Oldsmobile as soon as a space next to it was available adding more dings. I would roar the Oldsmobile to life to intimidate her as its exhaust system was rusted out. So she knew when I moved it every time.

Then her boyfriend confronted me and immediately let me know he was staying out of it ... Initially when she confronted me and I told her that's what her insurance is for!!! By the end of my visit every couple of inches was dinged on both sides of her car.

You must understand she looked me in the eye and slammed her door open into the passenger front door of my car. It was on purpose!!!!! And when I got out of my car she was exceedingly rude... I literally saw red and had my children not been there I can't say what might have happened at that moment. Instead I exacted revenge! I'm embarrassed I actually did that. June

That's great! Maybe she took that as as lesson to not mess with other peoples' cars again!

For some reason some people see luxury cars and just get ridiculously disgusted and resentful. Just because somebody has a nicer car than you doesn't mean you need to spit on them and damage their property! People like that just piss me off.

I swear it is some people's mission in life to ensure others can't have nice things. If I had a nickle for every time my Volvo was carelessly (or deliberately) hit in a parking lot by some... well you know..., I would have enough money to have every ding pulled out and the entire car repainted Saffron (seriously, I've been hit that many times).

Best revenge story that comes to mind. I'm sitting in my car with my buddies, and this guy pulls in next to me in an empty parking lot and proceeds to hit the right-front corner of my car. I get out to confront him and he starts yelling various profanities at me and wants to throw down. I let him go since there was no real damage to my car and a fight wasn't worth it. After he leaves, we pull out 2 jacks, jack up his car, take all four wheels off and prop up the car with bits of broken parking stop. We let all the air out of his tires, stack them on the roof, and throw all the lug nuts perfectly dead center under his car. To top it off, it was well below freezing that day.

Now that's funny! I bet he was pretty angry when he came back to his car!

To be honest, what I wanted to do was grab a tire iron and smash out all his lights and knock both mirrors off, but then my buddy suggested that idea. He had previously got into a similar altercation, and his truck has a winch.

Sprayed hood latches and release with silicone spray.
Oil change with 10w30 Castrol High Mileage Full Synthetic (First synthetic oil! Better late than never, I hope!)
Saved some old oil, plan on sending an analysis to Blackstone.
Replaced turbo drain gasket and seal. (Last one was 2.5 years ago, not sure what the brand was, but this one is Volvo from IPD).

Mileage on the car is 144885, fyi.

Changed the oil/filter drain plug washer at 359,000. Liqui moly 10-40. Mann filter. Pulled the Volvo 20 valve spark plug cover to soak up a bit of oil that I assume passed by the filler cap gasket. Recently i had opened the filler cap and looked down at the exposed cam shaft. It appeared to be bone dry. I swiped the cam with a finger and sure enough there was 0 oil present. This leads me to believe that if the car sits for a couple days the top end is running dry at start up. Has anyone else experienced this? Did liqui moly help?

Mass Pike is a mess tonight. 40 mph limit, heavy slush and freezing sleet.

Not a match for my T5 and her four radial snow tires. No all season crap for me.

STC is great, it starts flashing about 5 mph before I feel control slipping away, so I put another 5 mph of margin below that point, and I never slip.

If traction suddenly decreases, STC warns me with a flash!

Update. Bit mad at myself this morning. I drove about 400 miles yesterday with half in bad weather , 35-50 mph max

Made it almost all the way home, then lost it on 787, one mile from home. Three over correcting swings, then a 180 to stop. Luckily no traffic and 4 lanes of highway, only ego damage.

I have to go practice skid correction again.

As much as I love driving my 850, today was Subaru day in CT. Almost as if the snow wasn't there. 4x studded Hakkapeliitta snow tires + Subaru AWD= no worries

My first door ding on my S80 happened while I was in my car! I was visiting relatives who lived in a complex and I was in one of their parking spaces. My car was about two years old at that time and I'm afraid I didn't take it well. Looking back, I'm not exactly proud of the revenge I bestowed upon her car over the following week, but you can be sure she was more careful in the future. So I understand how infuriating it can be. That is an awesome story! I have a revenge story of my own, well, it's not really revenge and not nearly as cool as yours, but it think it to be cool anyway. So this happended a few years back when I was 22 years old and I owned a Ford Fiesta mk1 at the time. For those who don't know, I'm 2.05 meters tall and I'm built like a Dutch version of Bud Spencer (that's how my friends describe me and I love it since Bud is one of my hero's from when I was a kid). But you can't really notice that when you put someone like me in a car like that (by the way, the leg and headspace in that car were crazy, I had enough space all around).

So one day I'm cruizing down to the city of Vlissingen and the shortest route was through Belgium. So I did, but the highway of Antwerp is notoriously dangerous. Many accidents happen there and that day was no exception. So I'm stuck in traffic and the thing I do when I hit traffic is that I keep a bit of distance - like say, two to three cars - from the car that is in front of me. In that way, I can just put the car in second gear and let it idle instead of the usual throttle brake throttle brake routine. The guy behind isn't having that and starts to get on my tail like, I can't even see his headlights he's so close on me. I ignore it, the traffic jam is on all four lanes and nobody isn't going anywhere soon. The guy starts to flash it's high beams and shortly after I can see him flipping me of and mouthing the words F-you. The only thing I can do is laugh, for real. Where do you wanna go? Do you see a free lane I'm blocking you from?

Suddenly, I see him braking very hard and getting out of the car with a lifehammer in his hands (the things give out because they're bright orange). I don't think for a second and get out of my Fiesta. Remember, I'm 2.05 meters long, 120 kilo's, Dutch Bud Spencer. The Fiesta lifts a couple of centimeters up when I got out of the car and the guy just freezes in his tracks. I ask him what his problems are while walking at him. He just walks back to his car, sits, and locks all doors. Not a single word. Not a peep. All I can do is laugh. Aah, the memories
