Recommendations for rear deck speakers, 8'' s70

Hi all,
So one of the rear deck speakers in my s70 has blown, I thought I would just hop on Crutchfield and find a speaker fast, but apparently they are 8'' speakers, there are some marine 8 inch speakers I could buy, or a couple options on Amazon, does anyone have a recommendation for a pair of 8'' speakers that will fit the rear deck in the s70?

They are a bit of a unicorn. Blaupunkt had a model GTX803 several years ago that could be screwed into the OEM frames but they are no longer available new.

Before I sent my daughter's S70 off to the junk yard I pulled them and I still have them. PM me if you are interested.

Can I use marine 8” speakers, seem to be a lot more options when I type in marine

The important part is the diameter unless you want to fabricate a plate to put in 6.5". Marine should work fine so long as the magnet isn't too huge.

Crutchfield have wrong info about speaker size for 850 and i guess it's also wrong for s,v,xc70 speaker size.
I would use other site's info or measure the old speaker diameter.

Does anyone know if the rear deck speakers are the same in the 2001 s80 as they are in the s70, I think they are. I’ll go junkyard hunting this weekend.

I used 5x7" Ford sized speakers for the rear deck. I opened up the plastic casings, cut out the old speakers and screwed in the new speakers. I used the oem connectors from the original speakers and soldered the wires to the new speakers so that everything was plug and play. Here's the link to the speakers I bought.

Cheap speakers from Walmart. But they are bumpin'. So I like them.
