Cleaning the MAF does nothing about 99% (99.9% ?) of the time, unless the sensor surface is visibly oily or dirty.
If you want to investigate the MAF, unplug it before you start the car, then run it for a while with no MAF. The car will use default air:fuel ratios and should work just fine, allowing you to see if the MAF is a cause of the symptoms. However running MAF-less will throw a MAF code and CEL that will need to be cleared.

Did you try the car with the MAF unplugged before starting? Same result?

Fuel pressure gauge And evaluation of fuel supply. You need the exact number for fuel pressure on key on and during idle

It sounds like the engine runs OK when at higher RPM and not under a heavy load, but it doesn't idle smoothly or run smoothly when under load. Does that sound about right?
There could be more than one cause of the symptoms.
I agree with the above suggestions to check the fuel pressure (to address the performance under load) and clean the idle air control valve (to address the rough idle), if you haven't already.
You mentioned that you had a problem with the thermostat and changed it, which fixed the temperature gauge. What did you find wrong with the thermostat? Have you had a chance to check the engine coolant temperature sensor?

The thermostat was stuck open. Temp gauge never showed warm or half way between on the gauge. Always still cold. I changed it. The gage went to normal. I had heat from vents again.

Also yes you have the idea on how running... coast speed all good. Under load vibration. Motor and transmission seem fine although motor seems to move more than I've seen in any other car when looking at it.
