CAR IDLES rough //No CEL Topic is solved

My car has a rough idle and u feel it in the foot pedla and it is when im at a stop light in drive and almost like it occastionally feels as if it has a hiccup every so offten.. NO CEL

ITS ALMOST AS IT its jumpy and the idle alway remains the same around 800

Did the spark plugs awhile back to..

But its Almost as if it’s miss firing but wouldn’t my car throw a code if I was getting misfires

You might have to dig in and clean the throttle body; no need to remove it, just unscrew the air intake pipes to get to it. If not, then see if the engine mounts are dried up and loosing their rubber.

The top mount
Is bustedm

The idle always stays the same and i feel vibration and sometimes a little jolt or HICCUP on the GAS PEDAL A

It almost feels like its misfiring
And it is using alot of gas

If you have an erratic misfire it won't throw a code, and even if it does, you can trust the cylinder code about 1/2 the time.

If the top mount Is damaged, then likely the lower mounts are bad too. Busted engine mounts will cause engine vibration like you described. The question is whether the hiccups is the engine moving around or something else like the ac compressor kicking on and off. If the engine was to misfire it would throw a code. Also these cars are fussy about aftermarket spark plugs. June
