Okay i stripped out the back wheel arch lining to see where this breather/vent pipe is. I found the vent pipe it seems to be open. I gave it a blow with the fuel cap open. It made the same knocking noise and build up pressure. As soon as i stoppe blowing it then released the pressure back out the vent pipe mak8ng the same knocking noise. So i am now very confused as i would think that a straight vent pipe should vent without the knocking noise.unless it goes through a pump.

Any advice from here on?
