Got text message warning yellow triangle error message displayed on my text window

The message says REDUCED ENGINE POWER AND THEN IT dis appeared after i turned car off and restarted it.

I havent put the seafoam in the oil yet ......
Kinda of nervous to do it.....

Where is the PCV VALVE located on my car?

2002 volvo s60 2.4T

So today im going to pour the seafoam in my oil and how long do i leave it in for ??

There is no PCV valve per se.
Our engines have a crankcase vapor inhalation system. It allows the engine to inhale the oily vapors found in all crankcases and burn it cleanly. The process includes allowing condensed oil to return to the crankcase via passageways.
These passageways can clog in direct proportion to oil change and quality negligence.
Products like the one you mentioned are of limited effectiveness at best.

I thought it is good to clean the pcv ...
Im getting somewhat confused

Can someone tell me what my next step is after i do the glove test?

Once i put the glove on ..... do i REV the engine immediately to 2000 rpm ?? And for how long?

When doing the glove test, you'll know within a few seconds if your PCV system passes or fails.

Never heard of a blocked PCV causing a dashboard message. The PCV system has no sensors directly connected.

Best practice is to have the car scanned for codes..

Doesn't hurt to test the PCV though.....
