Techron turned off Check Engine light?

I have had a sensitive check engine light for at least the past 100,000 miles. It comes on, and I go in and have the codes read and the light then turned off and continue on my way. Recently, say 3 months ago, the light came on and I did not go back to the mechanic to turn it off as the the car is running excellently. We used Chevron occasionally, but Costco fuel mostly. Yesterday I put a 20 oz bottle of Techron Cleaner in a 2/3rds full tank (15) gal of Costco premium fuel and drove approximately 190 freeway miles at approximately 69-71 mph on cruise most of the way. We made a couple stops along the way, and the light was still on after arriving at our destination. This morning, the light stayed off when I started the car. and was still off when we arrived home. We topped off the tank with 12.5 gallons Chevron premium, and 7.5 gallons of the Techron Costco tank was still in the car. Have any of you also had a similar experience of turning off the check engine light by using Techron fuel additive? (2006 S60 T5, 234,000 miles)

I have not had this experience.

It would be helpful to know what the codes were in order to determine why the light was on in the first place.
