So far I am 50/50 on keeping it or getting the stock version again. It does quite well at holding the engine still, which my original one did not. The original one had the rubber 90% ripped up and was not doing much.
The down side is at idle - this mount transmits a LOT of vibration. off idle it is fine, but you really notice it at a red light. I am going to give it a few more days until I decide, it may loosen up a bit. I did the same thing on my Mazda 3 and the vibration is worth it for the vastly improved shifting and takeoff from a standing start, but in this case the car is an automatic and had no issues like that to start with.
