2006 V70 w 17" Wheels - Alternate Tire Sizes

Folks,

I have the opportunity to pick up a set of 215/50 R17 Nokians for my 2006 V70 (2.4L). I am currently running 235/45-R17's and wondering if these snows would be too narrow. Diameter and circumference are only 0.8% different. These are 17" Thors (7.5 width and 49 offset).

Searched and found posts that come close to this question, however nothing definitive.
