Cargo cover delaminating

I have finally bought a cargo cover for my 855T off CL.
It have the tabs, and retracts fine, however, the cover itself is delaminating. I have searched this forum, and google, but did not see this problem mentioned, it looks like most of the covers are suffering from other mechanical failures.
I intend to either glue it, or take it to a shoe repair to sew it. Will report the results when done.

If anyone have seen (and hopefully fixed), this problem, I will appreciate the feedback.

Sewing it would probably work well. I would use some spray adhesive (3M trim adhesive, or the Permatex stuff for headliners and vinyl) but just make sure you lay it together evenly. It grabs immediately, and it'll show any little wrinkle.

The way I reglued my headliner where it had lost its bond around the edges was, after cleaning off the dried glue residue with a small brush with medium strong bristles, I used common pins to hold in place (pinning back) any cloth that was loose but wasn't being glued in that pass. That enabled me to glue a short/small amount of the cloth at one time. I think I covered the pinned back part with wax paper. I used the 3m fabric glue (Menards.com) Like bmdubya suggests, you don't get a second chance once it contacts so if it's wrinkled that's how it's going to stay. Mine turned out pretty well.

You can take your time after applying the glue, but, like contact cement, you only have one chance once both sides touched.

A bit hard to find in Canada, but I saw a local place that carries it.
