Sunroof Weather Seal

Hi everyone!

Just picked up a ‘98 V90. She needs help. The previous owner used tape to I guess seal off the sunroof from weather.

Yikes.

Anyway, could I just sort of replace that rubber with a moldable rubber cover? Or is there a specific part? I found some stripping on ebay/amazon. It’d be great if I could just cover it with something new or squeeze on a new one.

Also, anybody have a driver window switch? Mine is busted and all the windows got stuck down. I had to take out the switch and fiddle each connection until they went back up.

The sunroof does not depend on sealing to keep the rain out. It depends on drainage to carry the water away.
Remove the tape and unclog the sunroof drains.

I’ll blow a little air or use a pipe cleaner. I cleaned out a mass of nasty leaves from under the gate.

I’ll also try the plumbers putty under there, too.

Get a spool of Aluminum wire and snake out the drains.
