V70 xc 2.4 turbo wont go over 3000rmp.....gets up to speed just slowly

Flow is good (no cat)and yes sounds like maybe coming from j hose at breather box.....its a loud wissle after I press on peddle starts at like 2500 some as my max rpm at the moment....I may have also found a leak in gas line.....only when pressure builds

What else goes wrong with them and is there another fix I can Try at home?...I went threw the xemodex test and they both passed....

The PEMs give up in 10-15 years and will first give you a miss at speed , then no start

You have to diagnose the root cause, not throw parts by symptom. Check fuel pressure with gauge. Monitor while driving

Just asking what is the PEM? going to check pressure again and see what's up.....is the PEM in the fuel pump it self? HOWow would I test this?

I don't think our year has a PEM. Thought we only had the fuel pump relay.

Thanks had me boggeled when I googled it....me and my 13 yr. Old have it torn aprt now....found a loos clamp I think comming of breather box....gonna install new I hose comming of brether box.....also some one said there is many things that go qrong with the etm.....i imstalled contactless poilsition sensor on original..no change...so installed a used one and was doing same thing....no change....what are the odds of them both haveing same issue? Wont go over 3000rpm and it gets up to speed and shifts....
