Sellers...if you can’t show it working , it doesn’t work.

(1) Many people have no access to a PnP, P80 cars are getting older and fewer, etc.

(2) it is an R ECU, a fun and easy upgrade for any P80 turbo car, but not easy at all to find in a PnP

Very true!
But original examples of these in this condition have gotten so rare. Some interesting features though, the owner decided to take the roof rails off. Also the wheels are not original, but good looking.
In any case, it looks like it's been very well cared for. Here is the screen shot which I forgot to take before:

Im still thinking s/he is 2x off the mark. You would still have to budget 2k for the refit, and that makes it a 6-7k Volvo. There are some nice P2s in the 120-140 range that would compete at that price point.

If you ask me, older clean well maintained Volvos are worth their weight in gold. Comparing any one specific example, listed for sale where the asking price isn't inflated or overpriced, is of little relevance and largely counterproductive.
