pass side motor mount replacement bliss
I changed my snows out and while I had it up put in the Reine passenger side motor Mount. Its like a tune up in a bottle. the engine is so smooth now that its not metal to metal. and Ive suspected the antiknock sensor has been triggered by the metal to metal contact on hard acceleration. I think its faster now. any how its the easiest improvement you can make on these cars. I assume the Reine will hold up compared to the Volvo, the most important thing is its not got oil or coolant dripping on it.

This mount is the last of the four I have to replace. I know the mine is original and probably shot. I ordered the rien from FCP, because of price and guarantee, easy R&R. Looking forward to getting the same results you have had from replacement.

Holy crap on running an original (or so) front engine mount! You should see a huge improvement, they usually last like 5-6 years (maybe 60k) if the car sees steady usage.

Mine right front lower mount failed at 300k+km...replaced it with Meyle 6-7 years ago.
All others are still original except upper torque mount which have been replaced 2 times.
Current one is Meyle HD....and it's good for last 8-9 years...better than OE.

Just replaced mine @125k miles. Big difference in noise/vibration in forward gear at idle and while rolling. Only mounts I haven't replaced are the two lower bell shaped hydraulic ones. They still appear practically new and appear to last far longer than the other three mounts/torque struts.
