2004 T5 C70 aerial issue ( not the normal issue ) Topic is solved

I have a Volvo C70 convertible and theaerial wont go up. I have removed the aerial checked the mechanism nothing wrong with it and with a power supply goes up and down fine. I even purchased another aerial second hand and put in car, still no joy. So definitely not the aerial itself. The stereo I have is a sc-901 which has always worked perfectly? Anyone had this issue. Is there a hidden fuse?

Wow no help whatsoever, so if it’s out of the normal issue no ones got a clue or suggestion. Only other forum I have ever found this with is the Civic boys, there solution is take it to the dealer!

Those relays are labeled as being in the electronics unit on left side of engine compartment

This might be mirrored for RHD though.

On the Volvo aerials there is a single yellow (?) wire on a connector on the back of the radio. Check the wire is not broken or the connector has been accidentally removed. If I recall correctly this is the wire feeding signal to the aerial.

The schematic above is from Mitchell. I think Mitchell got it wrong.

This from Volvo TP3943292 which, according to Volvo Tech Info, Cover 2000 S70, 2000 V70 and 2000 - 2004 C70.
Looks like Scot850's suggestion is the first port of call.
You might try pulling the SC901 out, disconnect the harness, for voltage on Power Antenna motor wire.
