ME7 has both a intake air temp and intake pressure valve , problem with either one will limit boost

I'm going to take a look at the IAT tomorrow to make sure I'm getting a proper reading in VIDA. That IAT and boost pressure sensors are very important for the ECU to monitor boost, and I know ME7 will cut boost if one of these sensors has failed.

I actually made an interesting discovery today... when I look at the upstream O2 sensor reading in Torque, I get nothing. I get a reading from the downstream, but not the upstream. I have a feeling that may be my problem.
However what I find interesting is that no codes are present aside from P1625.

I also checked the ECU A38 to the TCV, all good there. I also checked the resistance in the signal wires to the cluster (B41 and B46) and they are both good too (under 1 ohm). I'm really confused as to why these codes are here. Like I said, I'm going to see if I already mentioned these codes to Hilton, and if not I'll be sure to send him an email.

What is VIDA telling you about the front OXS?

I’ll also bet that without closed loop operation boost is inhibited.

B-dub...

Sometimes Abscate does His best thinking in the morning...

Let’s try clearing codes , disconnecting the turbo valve solenoid completely, starting up , and seeing what codes come up,

It is, and I noticed some things showing "open loop" in VIDA. Can't remember exactly what, but I noticed that. I'm going to check the front OXS signal in VIDA in a little bit.

Lol
That's a good idea, I'll try that after checking the the OXS.

Checked the O2 sensor signals. These look right for a cold start? I'm seeing votlage from both sensors on VIDA, so that's already a plus, but they aren't fluctuating much.

Sensor 1 should be fluctuating at about 1 Hz over the 0.5V value to go closed loop - looks dead to me.

Sensor 2 should be a constant 0.5V roughly. Looks ok.

That’s what I thought. I might need an O2 sensor.

I also tried unplugging the TCV... the car died immediately after starting and wouldn’t start back up. ECM threw a P0243 code. Cleared it off and plugged it back in and it started right back up. P1625 is still there and comes back every time I run the car after clearing codes.

Well, P0243 is right for a disconnected TCV.

P1625 maps to your ECM-6B00, so it looks like something is up with the MIL light circuit.

I think your Open Loop front OXS is probably causing your low boost - Im guessing ME7 inhibits boost in this condition.

From what I understand, that is correct. I'm banking on the front O2S being the issue.
