Trans shift issue

Hey guys, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here, so that’s a good thing I haven’t had any issues really. But I do now on a 06 C70 with 132k miles. The car runs and drives fine transmission shifts up with no issues but coming to a stop from let’s say 55 mph, when I get to a complete stop it takes transmisson a few seconds to downshift into first, and when it does it jolts the car. Any idea where I should start. Thank you

Check the trans fluid for color and correct level then engine and transmission mounts.

It’s a sealed unit correct, how do you check the fluid

The 2006 C70 does have a transmission dipstick. It is Yellow, it is short and it is buried under a bunch of hoses and wires. Peek up from the front and bottom to locate it. Then figure out what you need to get out of the way to get to it from the top.

Lol Well that is helpful, everything I’ve read said it’s a sealed unit and you cannot check it including the manual

The dipstick is Volvo part number 30713102. Google 30713102 then check the fitment.

Thanks, the blind was completely broke and missing so I didn’t have manual shift. I don’t know all the design so I started today with that, It takes them nonmanual issue but that was it. I have a 0192 code

Where are you getting that from? If it is a diagnostic scanner, you need to get a better one. That format is incomplete.
