Re: ECM-6300 and ECM-6B00 2000 V70R
Some times the filaments break then reconnect. Have you not had a light bulb you could tap and make it flicker?
The two codes are listed as Intermittent fault.

They both have listings for both permanent and intermittent faults.

Re: ECM-6300 and ECM-6B00 2000 V70R
If so, how was it relevant that they're listed as intermittent, then?

By my statement it should be checked for intermittence because it might be an intermittent fault.

Re: ECM-6300 and ECM-6B00 2000 V70R
And how would one go about doing that, when there's no cause to be found? I'm pretty sure bmdubya has enough wits about him to try and clear codes and see what comes back. It's the first step in any and all fault tracing.RickHaleParker wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 2:43 amSame difference meaning:

Clearing the codes gets rid of artifacts not intermittent faults.

Re: ECM-6300 and ECM-6B00 2000 V70R
I’m assuming that the bulb on steady in Vida and flickering on error code is reproducible, which points away from an intermittent bulb fault. Isn’t there an actually ECM code for the CEL bulb, too?

Neither is picking nits this time around, one of them is just never, ever wrong ... even when he obviously is.
