I can not open the drivers door from either inside or out need suggestions on how to get the door open it is not locked something has broke within latch. Can't remove door panel until door is open,

Before you start ripping it apart try these.
With one hand pull up and hold up the door lock. With the other hand pull the latch.
Push in and hold in the door, and pull the latch.
Try these from both inside and outside.
