braking pulse.

When Im braking hard, I can feel a pulsing feel in my brakes. Whats wrong?

might just be your Antilock Braking System kicking in.

If the pulsing is very fast then it is the ABS. If it is a slower pulse that corresponds to each revolution of the tires then you have warped brake rotors.

You need new rotors

Besides rotors, anything that introduces play in the suspension can contribute to this. I had perfectly fine rotors, but had a nasty pulsation due to a broken spring seat.

Any of that stuff at the top side of the strut, as well as a (badly) worn wheel bearing can introduce a pulsation when braking.

Also realize that if the ABS sensor loads up with metal filings it will give a false positive and set off the ABS pump. This vibration/pulsation occurs only at low speeds and can be rectified by cleaning the sensor.
