Plastic sleeve between inner tie rod end and steering rack

Post by kashee77 »

Hi my plastic sleeve that seems to prevent the steering rack from going to far is broken and I can't get the just the sleeve. Is this part necessary to stop the tire from hitting the fender and any ideas on a good substitute? thanks

By the way are you able to get a diagram of the oil flow chart for the oil passages in the head? My project car pushed the intake cam seal out I think because the PCV system was so clogged. when I pulled the cams out I noticed there was oil crust in many oil ports and they are clogged as well. I am cleaning them the best I can with a pick and intake cleaner but I can't tell where or how they all connect. Maybe it won't help but I feel like it would be easier if I could see how it all works.I may just have to pull the head to clean them properly, but would really like to avoid that. Thanks again kathy
