Hello,
I have volvo S60, 2.4.
Recenlty I changed coolant radiator. My mechanic installed used volvo one. Radiator has a sticker Behr Hella 8MK 376 774 231. I need new drain plug for it. The problem is that it is using different design of the drain than the oryginal one which was threaded. Now I need simmilar to the one on attached picture.
Searching with number I provided above the radiator is dedicated to different volvo models only. Does any of them had this type of dain plug? When I went to volvo dealer they want to search via VIN number which is directing them to oryginal radiator. I can not find track what kind od radiator I have and how to find the plug for it. Situation wear me out and make me crazy.
Please also see pictures of the radiator drain.
Please help.

my 96 850 has a turn and pull like that, but ive noticed there are many different radiators even used by volvo let alone aftermarket.
the bungs to the turbo cooler and trans cooler differ too. I can't pull it out to look obviously.

there should be two o-rings, one each side of the drain hole. Unfortunately its hard to fine o rings at a store. 1/8" wide is easy, but 1mm or 1/16 is hard. Is that the only problem o rings? You mechanic should have a drawer of them left over rorm transmission rebuilds etc

Valeo is original equipment. The Behr radiator is an aftermarket replacement product. Their petcock design is different than OE/Valeo. I see zero in Behrhella's catalog indicating they sell their petcocks separately from a new radiator. Nor can I find anywhere in their catalog or documents stating the size/composition specifications for that o-ring. It appears they expect you to buy a 'universal' replacement box of various sized o-rings and play the 'guess and pray' game.
That'll certainly make me think twice about buying one of their radiators should I ever need a replacement rad. You'd need to match the o-ring before the rad put into service (before it shrinks/swells/deteriorates etc).

Do you have original radiator? What kind of engine do you have?
The petcook om the picture does not fit. Is just for reference only.
I was informed at Volvo dealer that Behr Hella was suplier to Volvo.
