Here's what Betty the Volvo did this week - we visited the body shop because a woman with no drivers license backed her pickup into our rear bumper while my wife was parked at work. Hit and run (no license). Two witnesses, one followed her to get the license plates. We had two notes and a Policeman's card on the windshield. We were impressed with the civic behavior of people on the street!
Police took a couple weeks to track down an address and nail them. She got three citations.
Nothing structural - all it did was punch a hole in the bumper cover, but it's covered and we want it fixed. So there she sits covered in dust waiting for parts.
