You are looking in wrong direction, if you hear starter clicking but not cranking, the issue is either starter, ground, battery, battery cable to starter or seized engine.

Put a volt meter across the starter chassis and battery cable on starter. Have second person crank engine while you look at voltmeter. If you have 12+V while ignition is in position 3 and you heard the starter click, that means your battery, cables, ground are good.

I think you misunderstood. The starter is not clicking or doing anything. The starter relay, in the fuse box, is clicking when then the key is turned on (relay activating).

Ah, sorry, I did misunderstand. Did you isolate issue to PNP? If not, do you get 12V at remote starter wire? If you put 12V at starter solenoid terminal does starter crank okay?

OK...so now I feel really silly....I didn't connect the wiring harness back up to the starter (d'oh!)...so it had power, but no signal to start. That's what I get for working on it in a gas station parking lot!
