Many thanks on resolution of P0442 code

Just wanted to let everyone that assisted me with their responses on my "P0442" check engine light code that I believe it is now fixed. You were all correct on the "J" hose replacement and thus far the CEL is still off. There was a splitting of the old hose right near the one end where the clamp would go. In Pennsylvania, they won't do my annual emissions test or give me a new windshield sticker if there is any CEL on.

New owner of an ‘05 XC70.

Having some initial issues. I can see my upper PCV hose is shot, i’ll need to replace. Would this cause a P0442 code?
