Footnote....since vehicle was given to a non-profit, and then sold to person I bought it from, I didn't know previous owner's name who maintained vehicle. Today, I found out his name, Kinnaman, which is Swedish.

Took it out last night for its first drive since doing maintenance...runs fine...smooth.

When I looked in trunk, I found this spare tire...a very unusual find:-). Now, I'll have to get another one...VW bug tire for it:

A friend asked me about advises to buy an old Volvo. After two week of research he came back to visit me with this beautiful 244 from 1979! so glad!
