Transmission cooling line leak?

Post by Caberguy »

2000 S70 non turbo

Came home yesterday and found more drips than usual on the driveway. Initially thought it was oil, but now thinking it's tranny fluid that's gone a bit brown.

Put the car on ramps and found it dripping like crazy from the bend in the cooling lines. But I can't seem to find where it's coming from. It doesn't seem to be running down the lines, there's a bit of a scuff on one of the lines but it's the other one that seems to be leaking the most. Don't see any other obvious damage.

Any ideas about what I'm missing here?

I think those are power steering lines.

You're just saying that because they go to the power steering pump.

Yep, I dropped the ball on that one.
