Trans servo update

I can not find a servo update for my 1999 volvo v70xc 2.4 awd. The oldest model I can find is 2000. Dose anyone know the part number for the 1999? Or if the 2000 will work? Thanks

I think both years on the XC were the AW 50-42LE. My '99's were at least and I don't think they started bolting up the 5 speeds on the turbos until after the P80 era. I'm not sure what update you are referring to though.

From what I just read only the 5 speed need the replacement. Mine is a 4 speed. Or am I wrong. Would make scence why you mentioned the 5 speed.

+1 on the P80 not having the 5 speed unless it's a 2000 model R or non turbo.

The B4 servo cap update affects the 5 speeds only.

You have the AW 50-42LE, there is no update for it. Strong transmissions, though a friend and I both had ours start to leak from the torque converter seal around 260-280K.
