2008 3.2 stalls/dies/won't start Topic is solved

So i've been battling this poor XC90 for sometime now.

Once, I changed the fuel pump from the original thread about and it ran fine for 4 months. Now it's right back to its funny business. It's been sitting for 2 months now while I tinker.

Things that are new:
Spark plugs
Fuel filter
Fuel Pump
fuel pressure sensor
Battery (had to recently recharge from all the starting attempts)
Cam shaft position sensors

It dies on me leaving the good ol'waffle house. It started fine started to exit the parking lot and it hesitated and died. Wouldn't restart. It flashed "shift up or slow down" called AAA and towed it home. We pulled it off the back and it started right up. So i positioned it properly in the driveway and it seemed ok. Tried to start the next day and the same thing occurs either it starts and sputters until it dies or it wont start at all. A few days later it starts right up. I refuse to take it out on the street when this happens in fear of it dying on me. I started it up a few weeks ago and pulled it into my garage and now tinkering with it again.

I cleared these codes by pulling the battery when i replaced it. Can't get it to start and the only codes i'm getting is the ECM-P151B68 idle speed control

Could I just have bought a bad fuel pump? The place I purchased it from has a lifetime warranty. It's just pulling it out a second time doesn't sound very fun. Side note, someone has already replaced the pump before me. This one is the official third fuel pump.
Could it be the coils? Am I warm or frigid?

try unplugging your mass air flow sensor. The computer will recognize it's not there and try to run the engine in "defaults".

I tried unplugging the MAF, didn't do anything but throw the MAF codes. Reconnected, reset the DTCs by disconnecting the battery. Then attempted another start up, it came on for about 1 second and died. Still only giving me the ECM-P151B68 code.

Maybe it was Microsoft Information ... technically correct but totally useless information.

I tried moving the coils. 4,5,6 on the 1,2,3 spark plugs. Cleared codes and tried starting. Nothing. The kink in the fuel pump could be a possibility. Here are the codes I pulled:

I also pulled a few parameters and tried starting the car while it was one giving me that 1 misfire report...

I personally changed the fuel pump, I very well could have installed it incorrectly. I followed Vida but mainly Youtube. I drove that thing around for 2 months with the back seats out. Put them back in and drove around for a week, two max. Then, toast. I wouldn't rule out user error during installation. I may go ahead and pull the back seats back out and search for something, in the meantime I may get a replacement just to rule out the fuel pump.

Replaced the fuel pump with a warranty replacement. Found the issue, it was a kink in the line coming from the sender unit. I pulled the fuel pump out and pump side was dry save for a tiny puddle for gas. Fuel sender side was full of gas.

I’m going to run it down to empty to test the fuel level is good before capping off. It’s pretty difficult getting the pump in and fishing the line to the sender unit. Everything feels a little forced when installing. Crossing my fingers that it’s not kinked again, suppose time will tell. I’ll keep this unanswered until I can confirm the lines not kinked again.
