What that means is... we are where we were, and things are normal againSearch found 88066 matches: 850

Seems like that should be normal behavior, but alas, it's not. When a server gets created, MySQL, the database software on the server, is set to allow a minimum of 4 characters for any search term as a way of providing a type of safety net.
The lower you set this, the more work a server has to do, and the more likely it is to have a lot of searches at once, bogging the system and causing unresponsive server situation, when everybody gets a "This page isn't working" or "Error establishing a database connection".
But things are stable here and 3 character searches won't cause any problems, and didn't anyway on the previous server.
The search component is still indexing the 500k+ MVS Forums posts to build a search library, so please be patient if you don't find something you know is there. It should be done within 24 hours.
