drivers side view mirror wont adjust

Hi fellow Volvo fans
I just purchased a 2012 S60 AWD T6 with just 14,000 miles on it. What a sweet (and fast) ride. It's like new. Well most of it. When I bought it the mirrors worked. today Ive discovered that I cant adjust the drivers side. The passenger side works.

The little green lights light for both left and right side when each side is selected. I believe this rules out a fuse. That would be way too easy.
They both fold up when both buttons are pushed simultaneously as well as when the car is locked
The drivers side does NOT tilt when put in reverse (pass does). I tried activating and deactivating the tilt in reverse option. No diff.
Ive tried both keys in the ignition
Ive locked and unlocked the car with both keys several time
Iv tried using the seat memory recall
The window works normally
If anyone thinks that sacrificing a rubber chicken will help, I'll try it.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

update
This morning the drivers side view mirror will adjust left and right but not up and down.
I might need a few rubber chickens
