There must be something between cats and Volvo headrests

Replaced my sparkplugs today, they were NGK Bkr6eix (iridium plugs) but the gap was over .031

I got some cheap Bosch copper FR 7 D+ gapped at .028, already feels smoother

Oof... that sounds miserable. It was ridiculously hot today too, took the time to replace the valve cover on the Miata after repainting. Still doesn’t look as good as I was hoping, but I guess I can’t achieve near perfect results without power coating.

Finally got around to charging the AC in the R today too. That went well... until I was smelling refrigerant through the vents! It was hissing through the vents for at least 2-3 hours after this. I hope it aired out enough, fortunately it doesn’t seem to be lingering.
Looks like I need to order an evaporator! I had a strong feeling that was going to be the problem. Oh well, I need to fix the dash mounts anyway!
