Hi All,
98 S70 na 135 K. Removed TCM, car still goes into gear, no codes. Is that normal?
The bottom of the TCM has all the metal connectors, but the bottom of the TCM/ECU box does not have all the metal pins in place, some look as if they are below any kind of connection. That does not seem normal to me. I will look at it in the daytime.
Thanks
Jack

Title describes the TCM Car goes into gear fine but won’t continue to drive. Cleaned up bottom connector & TCM / ECM. Engine started, Cel & flashing arrow, Threw several engine codes, but no transmission codes. Turned off engine, Cleared codes, car will go several hundred feet, then it loses power, I rev high just to get it to move, but it quickly loses any ability to move. Shut it off, wait 2 minutes, car moves.
Engine 135 K, just got the timing belt, water pump, tensioner etc. done. Always starts right up.
Cant figure out the transmission malfunction.
