Maintenance reminder comes on every 2 to 3 days
As the title says, the time for maintenance reminder comes on I reset it I hear the beep from the dash the yellow triangle flashes it disappears for 2 to 3 days and then comes back on is there a way to keep this thing off. No trouble codes set VIDA and dice give it a clean bill of health

First time I see such issue, it should stay clear once you hear the beep and the T1 gets the miles back. Maybe try disconnecting the battery overnight ? (have the key in POS II when reconnecting it)

I recall having the same issue on my 2004 XC90 T6. If I recall correctly I found another "reset" procedure and that worked.
What is the procedure you are using?

My daughter has my XC90 and if I recall I have the "successful" sequence in the glove box. When the car is returned I will update.
Other item - the reminder light, if I recall correctly, starts to appear before the actual mileage of the computer scheduled maintenance. As one gets closer to the mileage the frequency interval starts to shorten and the display pops up more often. If I recall correctly, the message disappears after a set amount of seconds. So the disappear you may be seeing could be the program in operation rather than the reset working. (But if it stays off it works of course).

There might be two official Volvo procedures depending on the year (however there are many variants over the internet as people also make some variations when trying these)
This is what worked for me, notice I don't keep the key in POS I at the beginning (I don't think it's needed) and also I don't care about how many flashes, just a couple then let go - perhaps even 1 is enough. Notice I'm on T1 trip meter and when I turn the key to POS II the T1 goes to 0 and the triangle flashes, then when I release the button the T1 goes back to its miles, the triangle vanishes and also the Service message vanishes as well (the display it's hidden by my hand) www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTAI6V7Elp4

so I read parameters from the DIM. Service interval was "Invalid Value", as was engine run time for service and Mileage interval for service.
set those back to default values, so now we see if the message stays gone
