Folks,
Planning to replace the PCV system on my 2006 V70 in the next week and have the parts on order from FCP. The video mentions that one can use part# 30731007 from a T6 to replace a clogged banjo fitting (or cracked hose). Assuming both conditions are true and the cost of the part is about $40 from Amazon, wondering if there is a cheaper option involving some plastic hardline (talking about the plastic hardline and NOT the coolant hoses that warm the banjo fitting). Seems like one could clean out the banjo fitting and heat up some plastic hardline (I assume this is a vacuum fitting thus silicone hose won't work) to fit over the nipple.
Anyone tried this before? Anyone know the ID of the plastic hardline?
Thanks!
