2010 XC70 T6 - Any problems?
Need help and/or expertise on whether to purchase a 2010 XC70 T6 on Craigs List. Anything I need to be aware of with this year/model? 106,00 miles and one owner. Price-$8000 Sold the 2002 V70 T5 to one of my sons. Without a Volvo for the first time since 2004. Me loves them Volvos. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto ... 40578.html

If it helps at all, I bought a 2009 XC70 T6 (Polestar) with 75K mi three years ago. All solid, 145 K and counting. Engine based on that reliable Ford 6, which i had in an equally reliable old Taurus.

That XC70 looks really nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 6 cylinder non turbo is also used in the Land Rover LR2
The Turbo version that you are looking at is Volvo only.
The Engine was built at a Ford factory but not in the USA the factory is in the UK.
Ford was the owner of Volvo and Land Rover
I recently bought a 2010 S80 3.2 with about 125,000 miles on it
and I've owned my Land Rover LR2 3.2 since new in 2008
I wouldn't hesitate to buy that XC70 if it runs well and shifts well.
Make sure that the AC blows cold - I didn't check this carefully on my S80 and I ended up replacing the compressor.
With some basic maintenance that XC70 should last another 100,000 miles without a major repair
Good Luck
Paul

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

1997 850 T5 [gone] w/ MSD ignition coil, Hallman manual boost controller, injectors, R bumper, OMP strut brace

Hey Matt..I think it was sold. I sent him a text yesterday and he didn't reply even though the post is still up. My son and grandson came down from Oakland to hang out and I didn't have the opportunity to check it out. I was going to head down this weekend.
