Great first post example from Ashley....

Hi all,

This is my first post so go easy on me!

I have a 2000 v70 that was having a whirring sound for the last year or so. Mechanic thought it was the viscous coupler, so we replaced it. This didn’t solve the issue. My mechanic installed a gently used rear differential yesterday. Whirring noise is gone and it generally feels better. However, now whenever I hit 38-49 mph there is a moderate shaking from underneath the car. I strong vibration that sticks around until I hit 50mph.

Any idea what could be causing this? I had no vibrating before the switch happened. They suggested I drive it for a week and see if things settle into place.

Tires replaced about 6,000 miles ago and in good shape.

They suggested that I might need a new driveline which I am hesitant to jump into. Any thought or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if any of my postings appear to be rude, uninformed, or just blatantly trying to steer people in a certain general direction.....

I am generally just a low-key lurker who uses the searches available to us to my best ability....

I also sometimes try to just post helpful things that i haven't generally seen someone else already post there as a reply.....

hello first to tell you that this forum is very professional and interesting, but where I am from English is not my native language, I know how to interpret it but not to express it for what I would use a translator, only that sometimes the translations are not very correct but I will be as clear as I can to contribute to this forum, this if you allow me to.

Lots of folks here are not english native speakers. This post is mostly about those that use cell phone "text talk" -- which is basically a form of shorthand that is irritating. Your attempts at translation should not be an issue.

Good day.just replaced pwr steering pump cause it seized n threw the serp belt off.then i noticed big hole in hose as it was positioned near pulleys.no wonder reservoir wouldn't hold fluid.so i think i fixed those things but soon as i tried starting car it barely started like it wasn't getting gas.funny thing is theres a strong smell of gas outside car soon as it starts.also all of sudden my temp guage stopped working stuck on cold.but fan is definitely running.its almost got 300,000 n totaled 3 yrs ago.but its done me right over yrs.why the hard start,smell of gas, fan running,and no temp guage soon as i replace steering pump n belt ? Thnk u for ur time.

wat can cause my 06 s60 2.5t to no have no fuel pressure I change to fuel pump fuel filter mass air flow sensor fuel pump module I test my fuel pressure no gas came out I heard my fuel pump working wen I turn my key forward wat can it b now ???my car was just running fine

Steve, you're being rough on this guy. At least I can tell you he has a Volvo and a problem. And that it was running fine.
Now let's go and help him!
If we get it going again he can attend the 'Derek Zoolander School for kids that can't read well'.

Not at all. The way I see it is: If it is not important enough for one to put forth a effort to write clearly. It definitely not worth my time.

A run-on paragraph chaps my ass and get no response from me, period!
