Power System Urgent

We get the red power system urgent alarm when we start the car but it goes away quickly after we start driving. Does this indicate battery rather than alternator?
If it were the alternator it would be more likely to happen during driving, correct?

FYI 2008 XC90 V8 battery less than 2 years old.

Thank you. There were so many posts related to this it was becoming difficult to sort out.
I did my VC Gaskets this year, the engine was filthy with leaking oil.....so thats probably the cause...

After the VC i am not sure i have it in me to DIY this one.
