BMW slow.

I think it's a 5 series but I'm not sure, it's too small back there.

My rod is turning but I feel like I make a satisfying amount of boost, is it definitely broken ?
When I say turning I mean that it has some play, it's not spinning freely.

+ I don't know how this happened but the bolt unscrewed itself and fell off as I was driving, leaving the WG open.
I'm trying to find a bolt but it's impossible in France...

The rod will rotate a little bit, that's just fine. I think that post was referring to actually adjusting the WGA. If you're adjusting it, you don't want to force the rod to rotate.
